Spatiotemporal analysis in response to nitrate
To understand how the nitrate response is orchestrated across root cell types, as a function of time, we performed a spatiotemporal transcriptome analysis in the epidermis, cortex, endodermis, pericycle, and stele at 12, 20, 60, and 120 minutes after nitrate treatment. GFP-based reporter lines were used to isolate specific cell types using FACS.
